Brewery site and margrave residency – Kulmbach unites tradition and modernity. The city owns a long standing tradition of brewery and hosts the annual event "Kulmbacher Bierwoche" (Beer week of Kulmbach) which is known to many regular customers and tourists. Kulmbach has a lot to offer: a historic old town with its maze of small streets and cosy inns, the city wall and the Castle Plassenburg which is the town's landmark. Around the city of Kulmbach there are different natural parks and many possibilities for leisure activities.
